HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Complete a simply face-to-face interview.  This allows our staff to determine the best range of services for the client's specific needs.

Once a move-in date has been selected, the client's placement is secure.  There is no renewing his bed every 90 days.  There is no putting the client out of the facility at 6am - or any hour for that matter.  All facilities services revolve around our clients' schedules.

The client continues to work his job and saving his money.  All related needs are addressed and handled by the Project.

Clients will be required to meet with his/her Team and follow their recommendations for participation in various programs (i.e. AA/NA,) and agree to participate in vocational assessments in order to determine suitability for college classes and in an effort to increase their individual marketability.

While the goals of Project Upward Bound is to place an individual in long-term affordable houainfg, there is no obligation upon any client to remain within the program.  Each/All clients are free to leave when they feel they are ready and over the objections from their Team.

During the time spent within our environment, we remain hopeful that all clients take maximum advantage of our program and services.  This ensures the best possible outcome and addresses any concern of future homelessness.

It just that simple.  Work, save money, obtain personal growth, and address those issues that placed them in their situation.
